She graduated from Aldine High School in 1964. Pamela played the flute in the band and was a majorette during football games. She continued her education at Tyler Junior College and graduated with an associate degree in Liberal Arts.
She enjoyed making quilts, especially finishing the tops that were pieced by members of the Quilt for Kids group. She attended quilt shows and museums throughout the states. Her interests also included family, sewing, reading, watching British television shows, listening to country music, dancing, and genealogy.
Pamela loved to travel. Along with Alaska and Mediterranean cruises, trips to Germany and Paris, she visited 46 of the 48 contiguous United States. Many of the trips were made in a motorhome.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 43 years, John; sister, Frankie Brown; son, Charles Raymond Reddick and his wife, Nina; 3 daughters and their spouses, Cris Renee (Reddick) Shipp, Celeste Rachelle (Reddick) and Tony McGee, Susan Elizabeth (Dissly) and Eric Barnes; 8 Grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shellottia Nesloney.

A Memorial service to Celebrate Pamela’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
