Marshall George Lane, age 76, of Tyler, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Marshall was born Sunday, August 20, 1944 in Prentiss, Mississippi to Wilma Lane and Vernon Lane.
Marshall was married to the love of his life, Harriett for 30 beautiful years. They enjoyed traveling, and entertaining family and friends. Marshall was a Prince of a man who was always up for a good laugh. You couldn’t ask for a better husband, uncle, brother or friend. Marshall lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all.
Marshall is survived by his loving wife, Harriett Lane; sisters Merle Parker of Mississippi, Louise Jones of Mississippi, and Barbara Smith of Mississippi; brother Nelson Lane of Louisiana and many nieces and nephews.
Marshall is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
A graveside service for Marshall will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
