Marsha Dodson

Marsha Marshall Dodson passed away on November 30, 2017 in Tyler, TX, she was 69. Mrs. Dodson was born December 19, 1947 in Tyler, TX and was a life long resident. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Lee Marshall and Mary Marshall of Tyler, TX, and her husband Danny Lee Dodson of Tyler, TX.

Mrs. Dodson graduated from John Tyler High School in 1966 and also studied nursing at TJC. She worked at Andrews Diversified Industries as a road crew supervisor. And was an active member at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Tyler, TX. She loved the outdoors and camping, skiing and playing soccer. She adored her kids and grandkids, they were her whole world. She would do anything for them. She was an Angel to all that knew her and would do anything in her power to help anyone in need.

Mrs. Dodson is survived by her Son and daughter in law Marshall and Stacey Dodson of Wiley, TX. Daughter and Son in law Michell and Alan Daigle of Mixon, TX. And her grandchildren: Alyssa and Bryan Upchurch of Ft. Worth, Kaitlyn Brianne of Wiley, TX , Kirsty Knight of Carthage, TX, Abigal Dodson and Jonathan Dodson of Madisonville, TX, Sarah Morris and Caleb Morris of Wiley, TX, Bruce Alan Daigle III (Trey) of Mixon, TX, and Trinity Dodson of Wiley, TX. One Great grandson Josiah Upchurch of Ft.Worth, TX. Brother Bill Marshall of Tyler, TX, Brother Lee Marshall of New York, NY, Sister Tony Womack of Plano, TX and preceded in death by sister Mary Ann Drake of Houston, TX.

Services will be held at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home in Tyler, TX. Visitation will be Monday December 4, 2017 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday December 5th 2017 at 10am. In lieu of Flowers please make donations to the Deacons Benevolence Fund at Colonial Hills Baptist Church Tyler, TX.
