Ken Brown, 39, of Flint, passed away on April 5, 2016 in Flint. Ken, a technician for Orkin, was born on February 17, 1977 in Blair, NE. He grew up and attended school in Tyler, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1995. Following high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving for four years, honorably discharged as a Corporal. He followed in the footsteps of his namesake and paternal grandfather, also a Marine, Sgt. Kenneth LeRoy Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Lakota, of Flint; his children, Courtney, Madison, Cooper, Phynix, Taylor, Karlee and Grady. He is also survived by his parents, Larry and Martha Brown of Tyler; sister, Cherie Brown of Gatesville; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
