Johnnie Mae Davis Stringer

Mrs. Stringer passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 in Tyler.

She was born on January 30, 1930 in Canton to the late Johnny C. and Alice Crabtree Davis. She was a receptionist for the Tyler Courier Times for 25 years. and a member of West Erwin Church of Christ. She had lived in Tyler since 1947.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Chlois McCarty and brothers, Pete Davis and Buck Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Stringer of Tyler; daughter, Pamela D. Faubus and husband Don of Ben Wheeler; grandchildren, Kelli Pace Fossi of Alpine, Chad Faubus and wife Amanda of Bentonville, Arkansas and Todd Faubus and wife, Erin of Bentonville, Arkansas and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bobby Stringer, Don McCarty, Bill Yates, Billy Terrell, Bobby Dike, Larry Dike and Chris Dike.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Sunday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 university Dr., Tyler, 75701.
