It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jo Porter, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who peacefully departed this world on March 27, 2025 at the age of 63. Born in El Dorado, Arkansas on February 12, 1962, Jo was known for her unwavering loyalty, kindness, and unyielding work ethic. She never missed a day of work. She loved to sing, dance, and make others happy. A true pillar of strength for her family, she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her loved ones, including husband Robbie Porter, daughter Stephanie Hoover, and grandchildren Brooklyn Angon, Donovan Hoover, and his girlfriend Destiny Larza will deeply miss her. She is also survived by two nieces Janelle and Kim, daughters Sydney Lundgren & Lori Kim, Machelle and Robbie Lay, daughters Hayley & Carmen Lay, and James and Leslie Creekmore, daughters Madison & Mia Creekmore. Preceded in death by her Mother, Frances Barker; Father, Travis Strickland; and sisters, Melinda Cook and Janet Creekmore. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 12, 2025, at Lloyd James Funeral Home located in Tyler, Tx.
