Elizabeth Jane Ring

Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Orel Ring was born on November 13, 1936, in Washington, Kansas to Joe Orel and Jenny Peroglio. She was the oldest of three sisters. Betty joined the Air Force in 1955 and later left the Air Force in 1956 when she met and married the love of her life, John P. Ring. Betty and John traveled the world together with his Air Force and later Corp of Engineers careers. Betty and John have one son, Edward John Ring who resides in Indiana. Betty is also survived by her sisters, Elsie Gruebner and Cheryl Orel, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Anyone who knew Betty knows she had a few great passions beyond her family and friends, one of which is bingo! She loved to play bingo and would play whenever the opportunity presented itself even while in rehab up until a few weeks before her passing. Betty loved road trips and traveling with John in their RV.

Betty loved life, loved this country, loved her family and friends, and loved adventure. Now she is on the greatest adventure of all. We will miss her, but we wish her Godspeed and Lucky Number Seven!
