Elizabeth Suzanne "Suzie" Freeman

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Suzanne (Suzie) Freeman, age 54, of Tyler, died on Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was born to Annie Jo (Allen) and James Hershall Freeman on April 8, 1956, in Houston. The youngest of four children and intellectually disabled, Suzie graduated in 1976 from the special education department of Lamar High School, Houston. As their only daughter, Suzie's love and devotion to her parents, with whom she lived until her death, was evident to all who knew her. She loved to hear of family history, never forgetting birth dates and people's names. Suzie was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler.

Those left to cherish her memory is her father, James Hershall (Jack) Freeman of Tyler, three brothers: James R. (Jim) Freeman and wife, Barbara, of Tyler; William D. (Bill) Freeman and wife, Ellene, of Palestine; D. Jack Freeman and wife, Evelyn, of Dallas; as well as three nieces, four nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother in August, 2009.
