Mr. Pridgen served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was a member of Lane's Chapel UMC and lived in this area since about 1962. He was formerly of Grapeland and retired from Kelly Springfield after 25 years of service.
Survivors include his sons: Keith Pridgen and wife: Sandra of Flint, Lynn Pridgen and wife: Vickie Carlson of Palestine, grandchildren: Scot and Daisey Pridgen of Tyler, Michael and Misty Pridgen of Tyler, Mark Pridgen of Tyler, Brian and Charlotte Pridgen of Celina; great-grandchildren: Ruby, Lily, Jathan, Lily Fayth, Mason & Mackenzie; also survived by 4 nieces & nephews.
Mr.Pridgen was preceded in death by his wife Dreta.
Visitation will 7-8pm Thursday.
