Services for Delores Mae Radfored, 84, of Flint, TX are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel officiated by pastor Sam DeVille. Burial is in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under the direction Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Delores Mae Radford, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 inb Tyler, TX.
Born in Colby, Kansas on January 18, 1940 to the late Ralph and Pauline Roedel Imhof, Delores was raised in Keenesburg, Colorado alongside her brothers Doyle, Delmer, and Dwayne Imhof, and sister Joyce Tegtman Imhof. She married her husband of 53 years, James Edward Radford in 1958, and the couple moved to East Texas to raise their family.
Delores was an avid fisherwoman, committed to a healthy lifestyle and above all a devoted follower of Christ. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Doctorate from Louisiana Baptist University, and was a member of Flint Baptist Church.
Delores is survived by her loving children: Jimmie and Jim Utz of Frankston, Pam and Ricky Smith of White Oak, Julie and Scott Sparks of Flint, Darretha and Gary Ford of Tyler, Destiny and Christian Herbst of Jacksonville, and Carmen Radford and partner Kathleen Tracey of Frankston. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Tegtman of Colorado Springs, her brother Dwayne Imhof of Keenesburg, Colorado, and her cherished grandchildren: Daniel Crow, Carolyn Turner, Jennifer Kridakorn, Jessica Mckenzie, Elizabeth Miles, Rebekah and Julian Boucher. Her great-grandchildren include Ashlyen and Weston Crow, Quinn, Kali, Jaden and Athan Turner, Seth and Allen Emanis, Emily Kridakorn, Gatlin Bankston, and Henry Mckenzie.
Pallbearers are Daniel Crow, Jake Harris, Max Kridakorn, Allen Emanis, Athan Turner, and Daniel Mckenzie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse or the 700 Club.
The family requests that attendees wear bright colors to celebrate Delores' joyful spirit and full life.
