Her father was a farmer all his life, and her mother was a housewife & mother of 10 children. All the siblings helped their father with farming when not in school. Annie went to school through the 8th grade (that's as long as they went back then). She worked in the food industry most of her life & became supervisor shortly after starting. Her activities were her church, God, family & talking for the longest to everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Reid, parents Horace Henderson & Mable (Holloway) Henderson, brothers Terry Don Henderson, Homer Henderson & Jerry Lee Henderson, Sisters Burtie Lee Henderson, Lorene Ivey, Abeline Johnson, Sally Emmert & Linda Kay Carlton. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Bell & son Steve Gatlin, Her beloved Grandchildren Bobby Hartshorne, Justin Lee, Jacob Lee, Christopher Gatlin & Lindsay Calloway, her brother Robert Henderson, Plus many great grandchildren. 2 of her grandchildren Justin & Jacob Lee would always joke around saying each of them was #1 grandson. It was cute but really she loved and cherished each of her grandchildren & was so proud of them all.
The family thanks Flint Baptist Church & the Cottages at Main for all their love & support. Also Mary Hebert & Sue Henderson for all their help through all of this. There will be a graveside service at Whitehouse Cemetery 256 Memory Lane in Whitehouse Texas on Friday November 18th at 10 am.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.lloydjamesfuneralhome.com for the Reid family.
