Ann Shoaf Davis

Ann was born on September 18, 1949 in Gilmer, Texas to the late Jacob Eggleston Shoaf and Edna Earle Elizabeth Nelson Shoaf. She passed away on October 26, 2018 in Tyler, Texas.

Ann was a public school teacher for 41 years. She was loved and cherished by all the students she taught throughout her professional teaching career. She always put others needs before her own, and made sure everyone she came in contact with knew they were important and were somebody to her no matter what they thought of themselves.

Ann E. Davis is survived by loved ones, Sam Davis; daughters Georgia L. Moomey and husband Troy and Johnna L. Hall and husband Chase; sisters Dr. Mary-Margaret Shoaf and Janis Kathryn Lacy; nephew James Thomas Shoaf-Grubbs and her niece Lorraine Lacy. Ann is also survived by grandchildren Nicholas Blanton, Shane Blanton, and Kira Ellis.
