He was born April 5, 1928 in Virginia, Idaho. He was the son of David R. and Elizabeth Crump Taylor. He attended school in Arimo, Idaho.
Bud married Bonnie Jean Hewlett on August 29, 1948. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple.
Bus was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
His interests were his family, his beautiful yard, growing flowers, gardening and building things out in his shop. He built five homes and each was wonderfully built with great care. He loved to travel and go camping at Redfish Lake with his family. He loved farming since the age of 12 years old and retired from Amalgamated Sugar Co. after 40 years as an assistant superintendent.
Bud was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Twin Falls 2nd Ward. He loved his ward family and had many close friends.
He is survived by Steve (Kathy) Taylor and Tim Taylor from Boise, Idaho. Mark (Suzie) Taylor from Twin Falls, Shelle (Keith) Farnsworth, and Debbie (Michael) Cook of Filer, Idaho. He has 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, and one sister LaNelle Wentworth of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Bonnie, three sisters and one brother.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Twin Falls LDS South Stake Center, 541 Orchard Dr. with viewing one hour prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Bishop Michael Christensen will be conducting. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.
