Terry Mitchell Fair

A memorial service for Terry will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at University Lutheran Church, 911 5th Ave, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401 with Piotr Malysz officiating.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Margaret Burkhalter Fair.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Marie Kunzeman Fair; son Eric James (Kristin Grace Fair); grandchildren Dallas "Alex" Alexander Fair and Isabella Marie Fair.

Born March 13, 1957 in Reform Alabama, to John Clifton Fair and Margaret Burkhalter, Terry graduated from Gordo High School class of 1975. He attended Brewer State Jr. College in Fayette and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Terry went to work for Alabama Power, while still attending UA. Terry worked in various offices of the western division, retiring after 42 years.

He served for many years as the president of his congregation at the University Lutheran Church. Volunteering with various local charities including United Way and Habitat for Humanity. He spent his final years enjoying his life at his family farm in Gordo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University Lutheran Church.
