Sarah Faucett Cobb

Sarah Faucett Cobb “Sally” of Tuscaloosa Alabama, passed away peacefully at the age of 77, on September 16th, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama. A Graveside Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery located in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 at 10:00 AM, with Reid Crotty presiding.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Cobb Sr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Omar Truett Faucett; Mother and Father- in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Cobb Sr., brothers, Omar and Tom Faucett.

She is survived by her sons; William A. Cobb Jr. (Lauryn), Joseph T. Cobb Sr. (Mandy) and Thomas C. Cobb (Rose); sister-in-laws, Lois Clement (Ernest), Leah Webb (Judd), Kathy Faucett, and Millie Faucett; brother- in laws; Len Cobb (Beth), Luke Cobb (Sandy), and Kenny Cobb (Jeannie); grandchildren; Sarah Faucett Cobb, Joseph Truett Cobb II, Mary Thomas Cobb, Sidney Callaway Cobb, Charlotte Ester Cobb, Harrison Pollard Walker, Eloise Catherine Walker, Elizabeth Greer Millman, Savannah Drew Millman, and Liam Allen Millman; beloved nephew, Charles L. Cobb II; beloved great-nephew, Matt Hetherington.

Sally was born and raised in Northport, Alabama. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and graduated from the University Of Alabama. Sally and her husband, Bill, raised their three sons in Mountain Brook, Alabama where she worked as a teacher, realtor, and records coordinator at Bradley Arant Boult Cumings. Sally loved her bridge group, cheering on the Tide, spending time at Lake Martin, and time with her grandchildren.
