VANCE – Joseph Daniel Eads, age 75 died November 25, 2016. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Memory Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard E. and Ella Clements Eads; brothers, Donald, Richard, James; sisters, Marcel, Jean, Gladys; nephews, Ricky Maham, Larry Eads; children, infant daughter, Robin and son, Brett Hallum; and granddaughter, Jennifer Hallum.Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Euelle Kelley Eads; daughter, Sonya Sanford (Mike); sons, Darrell, Roger, and Allen Hallum; sister, Lois Ann Hutchins; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was born February 27, 1941. He attended Tuscaloosa County High School and served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962.Later he continued his studies at Shelton State Community College for Air Condition and Refrigeration and worked at DCH Engineering from 1980 until his retirement in December of 2003.Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Kevin Lybrook and Scott White.
