Jerone Lamar Booth Sr.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Memory Chapel. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00PM, with Mike Skipper officiating. Burial will be at Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper. Services are under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Jerone was born August 04, 1944 to the late Jesse R. Booth and Sybil B. Booth, he worked at BF Goodrich for 32 years. He was able to retire at the age of 55, which opened up a wonderful opportunity to hunt, fish, travel and spend time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jerone Lamar Booth, Jr., and brother Jerry Booth. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandy Price Booth; daughter Barbi (Gary) Skipper; grandchildren: Heather (Daniel) Abel, Holly Skipper, Cole Booth and Tyler Booth; great-grandchildren: Jackson Abel and Lexi Abel; brother Bobby (Suzanne) Booth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Active Pallbearers will be: Ronald Price, Chris Booth, Will Booth, Neilson Barnett, Randy Booth, Brandon Booth, Tyler Booth and Wade Walker. The family wishes to recognize Eber & Bonnie Barnett, Larry & Jane Evans, Larry & Lynn Carson, Jerry & Holly Lagrone, Donald & Barbara Lunceford, Paul & Karen Abel, Jean Harless, Leo Cindy and TR Pate, Marvin Herring, Datrel Price, Ross Cook, Bro. Tim Fields and the 1962 Class of Holt High School as Honorary Pallbearers.
