Inez Bullock

Deloris Inez Kemp Bullock passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8 at the age of 89. Inez was born July 14, 1935, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she resided for most of her life. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1952 and spent most of her career at Northport Internal Medicine. She married Edwin “Ed” Maxwell Bullock on December 5, 1952, and the couple spent many years adventuring together until Ed’s death in 2009. They joined Circlewood Baptist Church in 1960 where they enjoyed serving the Lord and connecting with friends and loved ones. Inez was an avid gardener who kept her yard in pristine condition and enjoyed bird watching, especially cardinals and hummingbirds. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, her parents, Annie and Barney Kemp, and her brothers, Aubrey and Frank Kemp. Inez is survived by her children, Mike (Sharon) Bullock and Michele Malone; brother, Ray (Micki) Kemp; sisters-in-law, Beverly Williams and Glendra Kemp; and grandchildren, Tara (Michael) Arrington and Taylor Malone. Honorary pallbearers include Crimson Village Memory Care Staff, Circlewood Baptist Church, and Hospice of West Alabama. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Inez’s life at Memory Chapel Funeral Home located at 2200 Skyland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa on Friday, December 13. Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. with the service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Circlewood Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama
