Cecil Lou Barkley

Cecil was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Brim; father, Joel Culbertson; son, Andy Hutchison; daughters, Tracy Craig and Mindi Barkley.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David Charles Barkley; Daughter, Machelle Greene; Sons, David Barkley (Tami), Mike Barkley (Angie); Scott Barkley, and Tim Barkley (Cayce).

Grandchildren, Travis Hines (Carrie), Ashley Arner (Dan), Rachelle Boeve (Cody), Madison Johnson (Joseph), Dalton Estes (Brooke), Alley Floyd, Colleen Kendall (Ernie), Katlin Greene, Adam Barkley, Ryan Barkley, Chad Barkley, Taylor Barkley, Carrie Barkley, Marie Barkley, Ethan Barkley, Tim Jr. Barkley, Lucile Barkley, Isabel Barkley, Neo Barkley, Charlotte Hutchinson and several great grandchildren. Cecil Barkley was a woman of many expertise. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, decorator, accountant and shopper. She loved traveling the world with her husband. She spent time sewing, gardening and enjoying all life had to give. She loved her church and the community and devoted a lot of her time to Christ. In everything she did, she did it with her whole heart and all her love.

A celebration of life for Cecil will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
