Alice "Marie" Robertson

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2 PM with burial to follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Walter Hubbard and Mary Denis Thompson; brother, Joe Hubbard. She is survived by her husband, Clifford M. Robertson Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Johnson (Lib) of Louisiana; sons, Kip Robertson (Lynn), Jimmy Robertson (Christy) and Marty Robertson (Crystal); daughter, Donna Robertson; grandchildren, Trey Robertson (Ashley), Marly Tashkandi (Hazem), Macey Watkins (Blayne) and Christian Robertson; great-grandchildren, Harlee Payge Robertson, Kenzee Layne Robertson, Saydee Monroe Robertson, Nora Adeline Tashkandi, Lujain Eleanor Tashkandi, Bankston Carr Watkins and Baylor Hampton Watkins.

Marie was raised in the Rosedale area. She went to school at Tuscaloosa high School. During her working years she worked at Olympia Mills, 10 years at Piggly Wiggly as the head deli cook and several years at Cracker Barrel. She was an awesome cook. She enjoyed her family, spending time at the river and in her children's homes with the grands.

She always worked hard but put the needs of others before herself.

When she was able, she enjoyed time with her church family. Giving of her time in service to others.

The family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a Charity of your choice.
