It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Cordova, 66, on November 12, 2024. Rosa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who filled the lives of those around her with warmth, love, and care.
Born on December, 25 1957, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Ciro and Concelo Adame, grew up with a deep sense of family, which she carried throughout her life. Rosa was a devoted homemaker who loved nothing more than to nurture her loved ones, and fill them with delicious authentic food.
Rosa also had a special love for shopping, and considered it therapeutic. Whether it was picking out the perfect gift, or hunting for bargains at her thrift shops, she was delighted to be out and about. It could never be understated how much she enjoyed going from store to store, and collecting whatever caught her eye.
An accomplished cook, Rosa home was always filled with the comforting smells of her food. From hearty family meals to holiday feasts, she made everything from scratch with love and care. Many cherished memories were made around her dinner table.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gustavo Cordova, her children, Lluvia Cordova, Gustavo A. Cordova, and Renato Cordova, and her grandchildren, Domingo Cordova and Alexa Cordova. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ciro and Concelo Adame.
Rosa’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in everlasting peace.
