Manny Faria was born on April 9, 1985 in Turlock California to Manuel and Kathleen Faria. By the age of nine years old he began learning how to operate heavy machinery with his father, and Manny’s innate work ethic continued to grow to become one of his greatest attributes.
In 2003, Manny graduated from Hilmar High School and began running excavators for his father full time. May of that same year is when he first met Amy Rocha, who would go on to be his wife, and the mother of his children.
Manny and Amy were married in 2009 and welcomed their first daughter Edyn in 2013, a son Lucas in 2016, and their daughter Ava in 2019. His children were his whole world, and they meant everything to him. The love he had for his children was so evident, it radiated from his very being, and there was no doubt that he would go the ends of the earth for them. Every Sunday was Manny’s special day with the kids. Treats to get ice cream, their favorite trips to Costco, truck rides, and adventures to Avo Rochas’ to make breakfast every Sunday so that mommy could sleep in. Manny was the most thoughtful, loving husband anyone could ever ask for, and he was a very loyal friend, the kind you could trust with anything, the secret keeper.
Manny was a husband, son, brother, uncle and an amazing friend. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Manny is survived by his wife Amy Faria and his three children: Edyn, Lucas, and Ava Faria of Hilmar; parents Manuel and Kathleen Faria of Hilmar; sister Stacey Silveira and her husband John of Hilmar; nephew Brenden Faria; father and mother-in-law Jorge and Ann Rocha of Gustine; brother and sister-in-law Eric and Mary Beth Rocha and nephew Austin Rocha of Gustine.
