Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Andrea Bates, Rae Lynn Grim and Denise Keener; her five grandchildren, Joshua Goesch, Taylor Schneider, Alicia Keener, Justin Guajardo and Carl Bates; and her twelve great grandchildren, Angelina, Max, Ashley, Kayleb, Taylor, Olivia, Aniyaah, Kamiyaah, Zariyaah, Amelia, Aria and Bella.
She was surrounded by her family during her final hours, a testament to the deep bonds she nurtured throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Thomas Downey High School in Modesto, Evelyn married for the first time at the age of 18. She worked diligently for many years at Campbell Soup Company and Tri-Valley Growers before retiring from the latter.
A devoted member of the Church of Christ in Escalon, California, Evelyn exemplified selflessness and compassion. She frequently assisted fellow church members by providing transportation to appointments and offering support wherever it was needed. Her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life and brought her peace until her final breath.
Evelyns's creativity shown through her love of sewing and crafting. She lovingly made clothing for her daughters, grandchildren and great granchildren and delighted in creating handmade Christmas ornaments that she gifted to loved ones, neighbors, and even office staff at her doctors offices. Her thoughtful gestures touched countless lives.
Evelyns Legacy is one of love, generosity, and faith. Her family and friends feel deeply honored to have shared their lives with such a kind and giving soul.
