Arthur Fernando Silva, age 74, of Crows Landing, California passed away at his home with his wife by his side on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Arthur was born in Graciosa, Açores, Portugal to Idalina Espindula and Manuel Sousa De Silva.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Tina Marie Silva of Crows Landing. Arthur is also survived by his brothers Julio Silva and Frank Silva (Susan) all of Hilmar along with his sisters Janet Brasil of Idaho, Maria Lilita Cunha of Turlock, and many nieces and nephews.
Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved son Dean Arthur Silva, his parents Manuel Sousa De Silva and Idalina Espindula De Silva, his sisters Maria Liduina Machado and Maria Da Ajuda Da Rosa.
Arthur was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
Arthur was a past Director, Vice President and President of Turlock Pentecost Association, he was also a member of Our Lady of Miracles Gustine, Our Lady of Fatima Turlock, Sacred Heart Patterson, Crows Landing Pentecost and Modesto Pentecost.
A visitation for Arthur will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380 followed by a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will occur Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA 95380 followed by the committal at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving as pallbearers are Martin Cunha, Gabriel Cunha, Lino Silveira, Joe Silveira, Jake Brasil , Derek Silva, Julio Silva Jr., Manuel Silva and Gustavo Jimenez.
