William “Bill” Moseley - born October 17, 1939 and passed away on January 13, 2016 in Lacey, Washington at the age of 76. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan married Joyce (wife) of 39 years on October 12, 1976 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Joined the Army at the age of 21.
Stationed in many places including; Korea, Germany, Paris and Alaska. His last tour of duty he was station at Elmendorf AFB Anchorage, Alaska. Bill served in the military services for 18 ½ years, he was in the Army and Air Force on active duty and also as a reservist. After getting out of the military, made our home in Anchorage, Alaska for 16 years
Bill worked for the power company (MLP) in Anchorage, Alaska, before retiring in February 1993. Moved to Lacey, Washington in November 1996.
Bill’s interests included the love of airplanes, an avid reader, playing cribbage and traveling.
Bill is survived by his wife-Joyce of 39 years; his sister Sandra and brother-in-law John; sister-in-law Peggy and her husband James; nephews John, Bradley, J.R. and Peter. Proceeded in death by his father, Aldolpus and mother Gertrude; best friends, John Huthwaite of Clawson, Michigan and Donald Schryver of Milledgeville, Illinois.
No funeral services planned in Lacey, Washington. Burial will take place at Ft. Richardson Military Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska.
