

October 26, 2015, on a quiet fall day, surrounded by her devoted family, Rose C. Badillo peacefully passed on safe into the arms of God. Our hearts are heavy but we are thankful for the love, memories, traditions of cooking and family time and strength she gave to us. She had the most amazing heart and she made us laugh with her wit, she will be missed. She is no longer suffering or in pain and knowing that brings us much peace. May she watch over us all as we go through this journey.
Rose C Badillo was a loving wife, mother, nana, great-nana. sister, friend and a woman with a solid moral compass and a love for her family. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur F.Badillo, and her daughters; Felicia F. Diaz (husband Anthony Diaz)San Antonio, Texas; Marie-Elena Amendt (husband William Amendt)of Yelm, Washington; Esperanza A. Badillo-Di Iorio (husband Wayne A. Di Iorio) of Lacey, Washington; Arlene McCloud (partner Tony Simon) of Yelm, Washington. Her grandchildren are: Arthur, Samantha, Ariela, Ronnie, Hanford, Allegra-Sophia, Talia, Matthew, Isabella, Carson, Ameilla, Lorenzo, Luciana, Charlie, Stefano, and Anthony, and one great grandchild; Elena.
Rose was born on August 30, 1945. She was born in San Jose, California. Her family who passed before her were her parents Fernando and Antonia Flores, sisters (Molly Leal, Nelli Pino, Pauline Rodriguez, Dora Temple, Martha Wright) brothers (Fernando Flores, Christopher Flores); living siblings are Helen Castillo, Marilyn Wright, Arthur Flores, Michael Flores.
Rose was retired from The Boeing company which she had worked for 32 years. Her resume was outstanding and she received many accolades from the many companies she worked for. The list includes Intel, Raytheon Co, Hewlett Packard. Rose was a driven professional and she had an amazing work ethic.
Her greatest love was for her family, she enjoyed attending their school events(graduations, sporting events, concerts, recitals), cooking with her family, gardening, listening to Mexican music, traveling, she loved to dance, sing, taking care of her family and she loved her St. Louis Rams.
Rose was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in December of 2014. She remained dedicated to her family throughout fighting her illness. She was incredibly a brave and strong willed woman. We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts the staff at Group Health Infusion Clinic. Their love and support has been such a huge comfort to our family. We would also like to thank our family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time.
