Jean was born December 2, 1922 in Peru, Illinois to Edward and Mary Billard. She passed away at Sunrise Château Adult Family Home in Lacey, Washington on May 20, 2010. Jean married Arthur E. Pohl who preceded her in death, December 1998. Jean had worked in the healthcare field for 30 years and was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, crocheting, sewing, swimming and the outdoors. She had been a member of the Elks Lodge and Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children Don Pohl, Laurie Weekly(Jon), James Pohl, Nancy Jones; Brother Jack Billard; grandchildren, Angela Davis, Matthew Dalton, Laurie Smith, Kris Siwek and Sara Vaught. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Pohl and brother Gale Billard. There will be no services. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer Foundation.
