Jim leaves his wife of 45 years, Donna (Thompson), his son, Keith and wife Jamie, grandchildren Bailey and Chance Wolford, Chrisian Kurtz and Zach Stout, and siblings Barbara and Murdo Murray, Carol and Fred Heitman, Lynn and Michael Gott and Bill Yaeger. Jim is predeceased by his son T.J. (Timothy James), sister Gail Yaeger and parents, Ronald & Bernice Davies.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Jim was a graduate of the 1967 class from Kenmore East High School. At age 18, he joined the Army and served as a MP in Korea and also Virginia, where he met Donna.
Jim retired as a plant supervisor with Rohm-Haasin after a 32 year career which began with Ventron in 1978. In 1992, Jim was transferred to WA. He was very proud of his career and was a friend to many coworkers. He loved living in Washington state, despite his deep affinity for Buffalo, NY. He never lost his love for the Buffalo Sabres hockey team.
Jim’s loves were his family foremost, sports - Buffalo Sabres hockey, the Saw Doctors Band concerts, crossword puzzles, Schnitzel, Fred Myer, popcorn, Donna’s cooking and sharing a good laugh with a buddy. He was loved and respected by many.
