On December 9, 2022 we lost a loving Husband, Brother, Father and Son.
Born to Mr. Jack and Darlene Rice on February 6, 1952 in the town of Centralia, Wa. Mr. Gary Allen Rice spent nearly his entire life on Fort Lewis and McChord AFB as a Construction Laborer and Safety Professional for numerous contractors; most notably Strand/Hunt and Pease Construction. His professionalism, dedication and technical expertise resulted in him receiving countless awards for his safety efforts. In July of 1999 he married Kelli (nee VanDeLaare) and in 2014, he retired from the construction business.
At his time of passing Gary A. Rice was 70 years old. He is survived by his wife Kelli, and among numerous family members who all will greatly miss his love, candor and quick wit.
