Donna was born to Newt and Helen (McBride) Bromley on September 1, 1941 at home in Bickelton, Washington. She was the seventh of eight children and was preceded in death by her older siblings, Maxine Eldred, Phyllis Dodson, Ethel Lee, Dale Bromley, Elmer Bromley, Wayne Bromley.
She married Robert (Bob) M. George in 1962 in California. Bob was in the Navy Seabees and they were stationed in locations such as Rodda, Spain; and Gulfport, Mississippi. After leaving the service, Donna and Bob returned to Washington and eventually settled in Elma, and were later divorced in 1978.
In 1986, Donna married Richard Renaud, now deceased. Richard and Donna shared a love of country music and square dancing. Donna had worked for the Washington State Parks Department until her retirement after 25 years of dedicated service. Donna was very active in her church where she enjoyed helping with the food bank and participating in regular bible studies.
Donna is survived by her younger sister, Karen Dallons, and children Karla (Eric) Heinitz and Darin (Susan) George, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Donna will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater, Washington, followed by a reception at 2:00 PM.
