Victor Manuel Lopez

Victor Manuel Lopez, age 23, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Victor was born August 10th, 1999, to Lucas Anthony Lopez and Maria Magdalena Lopez, both of whom survive their son.

Victor is preceded in passing by his great-grandparents Hector B. and Grace Lopez, and Isidro and Anita Arvayo; Victor is further preceded in passing by his grandmother Linda Lopez, his Godfather and close confidant Erisaldo "Chito" Aguilar, his great-aunts Norma Quiñonez, Valarie Adair, and Sylvia Aguilar; his uncle Rene Moreno, and his cousins Lakota Davila and Louie Rodriguez. He joins this family now in eternity, to watch over their loved ones until they are able to meet once more.

Victor is survived by his grandparents Hector and Tammy Lopez, Hector and Lillian Ochoa, and Victor and Lupita Bracamonte; Victor is further survived by his parents Lucas Lopez and Maria Lopez (Everardo), his brothers Lucas, Anthony, Diego, Santiago, and Lorenzo; many uncles, aunts, and cousins; and his beloved pitbull, Chapo Lopez.

Victor is remembered lovingly as a spirited young man with big dreams and a bigger heart. Many recall his plans for his future, always changing and centered around walking his own path. He had planned to start a landscaping business, stemming from his vast love for the outdoors. It was his late Uncle Chito who taught him everything about fishing, camping, and instilled in Victor his passion for nature.

Victor's passions further extended into his enjoyment of gaming. If he wasn't outside walking his dog Chapo, he was inside playing HALO on his XBox, and eating some of his favorites from Olive Garden or Chik'fil'a. Victor loved to grill, cook and bake, especially if it was for his family. Above all else, Victor adored his family, giving whenever and wherever he could. Whether helping to care for his grandparents, or helping his tias, Victor was always willing to help.

Victor's memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew him. He will be deeply and dearly missed by his parents and brother, his whole family, his friends, and the community.

A visitation for Victor will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Santa Monica, 212 W Medina Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756.
