Tony A. Martinez, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away November 27, 2021. The son of Rosalino Ahumada and Jesse Martinez. Tony grew up in Tucson, Arizona. He valued the service highly and continued his service as a Commander of the American Legion Sahuaro Post 68 in 2007 to 2008. Tony is survived by his wife of 21 years, Yolanda V. Martinez, 10 children, 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. His loved ones will remember him as the loving, funny jokester and hardworking painter. A service honoring the life of Tony will be held on December 15, 2021 at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn. Viewing from 3 to 8 pm with Rosary recited at 6 pm. Mass December 16, 2021 at St. Augustine Cathedral 192 S. Stone Avenue at 10 am with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
