Teri Lee Davis

Teri Lee Davis, of Tucson Arizona, was born into eternity June 21st 2023, surrounded by loving family. Teri was born on January 3rd, 1945 in Lincoln Nebraska to Howard Dean and Dorothy Caldwell, both of whom preceded their daughter in passing. Teri was one of five children, and is survived by her brother and sisters Sharol Lewis, Candace Bruce, Gale Dean, and Judy Larson.

Teri met and married the love of her life, Jimmy Ray Davis Sr., early on and they proceeded to share 59 wonderful years of marriage. Teri is survived by her beloved, Jimmy. Teri was the matriarch of a large and loving family, having raised five children together with Jimmy: Jimmy Ray Davis Jr. (Laura), Kevin L. Davis (Lisa), Keri L. Ford (Timothy), Christian Davis (Ruthie) all survive their mother; Teri is reunited now with her son Eric L. Davis and daughter in-law Samantha, who preceded their mother in passing. Teri is further survived by 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

In her professional life, Teri was an accomplished and integral part of the Tucson Newspapers Incorporated team. She retired from her position as a Contract Sales Executive, and had also held a position on the residential sales team. In her retirement and personal life, Teri valued above all else time spent with her family; she delighted in sharing her company and opened her home to all who needed a safe haven. Teri further enjoyed bowling, cycling, and thrifting in the Tucson community. Teri was a woman of faith, and devoted member of the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Teri will be dearly missed and deeply mourned by all those who had the incredibly joy to know her. Her memory will be cherished in their hearts.
