Susan Louise Vertz

Susan L Vertz age, 78 passed away Friday, December 8th, 2023 at Peppi’s house, a TMC hospice in Tucson, AZ.

Susan was born November 27, 1945 in Glasgow, Montana the daughter of John and Esther Brenden. She was raised in Nashua, Montana and graduated from Nashua High School in 1963. Susan married Dale Vertz. They lived in Nashua, Glasgow and Great Falls, Montana. Then they lived in Azores, Portugal before moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1978 and raised two sons. She worked for the United States Air Force for 31 years retiring as a Budget Officer.

She is preceded in death by her father John Brenden, her mother Esther Brenden, her brother Richard Brenden. Her sisters Jeanette Forest, Betty Trueblood and Darlene Ramsbacher.

Susan is survived by her husband Dale Vertz of Tucson, Arizona, her sons James Vertz, (Arlene) and Michael Vertz, of Tucson, Arizona. Her granddaughter Ally Vertz, of Tucson and her brother Gary Brenden (Josephine) of Florida.

Susan loved oil painting and doing stained glass. She loved all animals but most of all her wonderful dogs.
