It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we grieve the sudden passing of Ryan Taki, who left us too soon on July 14, 2024 at the age of 28. Ryan was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who brought joy to the lives of all who knew him with his kind heart, his endless ability to make everyone laugh and his bright smile.
Born on December 22, 1995, Ryan grew up in Tucson and was an avid music and video game enthusiast. Although introverted, he was a great singer and had a keen ability to break down music. Ryan also loved fashion and its use as a means of self-expression. He was always open-minded when it came to trying new things but at his core, he loved what he loved, regardless of what anyone else thought. Ryan was an animal-lover and talented artist who loved playing guitar, taking long bike rides on Rillito, and hanging out with his beloved dog. He loved spending time with his family and had boundless energy when it came to jumping in the bounce house, swimming, and playing chase with his nephew.
Ryan was an empathetic, compassionate soul who would jump at the chance to help with anything and was always there to give you a huge hug or to make you laugh. His deeply rooted passion for anything and everyone that he loved is one of the many qualities he will be most remembered for. He is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Raad and Lisa Taki, his four devoted siblings, Sarah, Rowan, Julia and Jeromy, as well as his nephew, Connor, and his sweet dog, King. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. While our hearts ache with the void left by his absence, we find comfort in the cherished memories we share of him and the love he gave so freely.
A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held immediately following at 6460 N. Placita De Tia Ro, Tucson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Friends of Pima Animal Care Center in Ryan's honor.
Rest in peace, dear Ryan. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
