Robert (“Bob”) John Myer, of Green Valley, Arizona, born July 25, 1933, in Berlin, Germany, as Hans Gerhard Meyer, passed away August 26, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. When Bob was still a child, his immediate family survived World War II Germany and immigrated to the United States. Bob attended and received a degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Bob worked most of his career in Southern California as an aerospace engineer, including 33 years at TRW on projects such as the Apollo moon landing missions and the Titan missile. Bob raised his four children in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Bob is survived by his children Scott Myer, Deborah Myer, Robert James Myer and Karen Myer, his grandchildren from Deborah, Gabriel Myer and Angelina Myer, his sister Margot Yaeger (Meyer) and his ex-wife Lillie Myer (Hartmann). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Myer (Meyer) and Edith Myer (Eisermann).
