Richard C Huston

He worked as a young man in the mines in the surrounding region and received a degree in engineering from Colorado School of Mines. His work took him around the world including Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Jersey. He lived for many years in Tucson, Arizona where he is mourned by family and friends. He enjoyed many things: jeeping in the mountains, hiking, collecting minerals, gardening, friends, wine and good food.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph E Huston. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathleen and his children: Dixie (Chris) Check, David Huston, Susan Palmer, Joe Huston and Larry (Kim) Green, his grandchildren: Irina Check, Alexis Check, Natalie Check, John Check, Larissa Huston, Clarice Huston, Dexter Finley, Joseph Palmer, Peggy Palmer, Larry Green III and Justin Green, and his great-grandchildren: Gracie DesMarais, Logan DesMarais, Natalya Birkebak, Elizabeth Finley and Luke Finley.

He is loved and missed by all of them, and many other close friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 11:00 AM at Casa Adobes Congregational Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Casa Adobes Congregational Church, 6801 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704.
