Margie Lou Bell

Margie Lou Hill Bell of Joseph City, Arizona passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 83. Margie was born in Globe, Arizona on July 12, 1939, the youngest of six-children to Lawrence and Blanche Hill.

Margie spent much of her younger years traveling around Arizona where her father and mother were federal government trappers and managed various ranches.

The family moved to Tucson where she met and married Kenneth Darris in 1957. Margie and Kenneth had four children: Dora, Kent, Vonda, and Marc.

Margie was a homemaker and a stay at home Mom most of her life. Margie later parted ways with Kenneth and married James Bell in 1976 and remained married to James until his death.

Margie moved to Joseph City in 2012 where she resided until her death.

Margie is preceded in death by her husband James, brothers Norman, Clayton, and Guy, and sisters Dorothy Hill Berna and Gertrude Case.

Margie is survived by her four children, Dora Rees (Robert), Kent Darris (Cammy), Vonda Cross (Neil), and Marc Darris (Victoria), eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Margie will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 28, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, A 85706.
