Marco Antonio Martinez Jr.

Marco A Martinez Jr, forty years of age, passed away from health complications on October 4th. His family is devastated, but know that he is at peace and with God. Mark or Marky as his family lovingly called him is survived by his two children Aerial Martinez and Marco Martinez III, his grandson Hosmar Bojorquez Jr, his parents Marco and Reyna Martinez, his siblings Melanie Martinez, Roberto Martinez (Melissa), and Angel Martinez (Jessica). He is also survived by his nephews Dominic Ornelas, Giovanni Ornelas, Roberto Martinez Jr, and niece Penelope Martinez. Along with countless friends and family.

He was born August 28,1981 in Tucson, Arizona. Mark grew up on the southside of Tucson and attended schools in the Sunnyside District. This was where he made meaningful and lifelong friendships. He graduated from Desert View High School in 1999. As a child Mark would learn and work alongside his dad in the family plumbing business. He continued the family tradition and made plumbing his profession. He was a talented and well respected plumber who brought laughter and fun to the workplace. For more than twenty years he worked in the plumbing industry; not only at his father's business Marcos Plumbing, which eventually became his own plumbing company M & R Plumbing, but also at Sun Mechanical.

He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He knew how to make an entire room erupt in laughter. You always knew it was going to be a fun time if Mark was coming. He was a man that was loved by everyone he met. He absolutely loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and would root for them every single game. Mark loved all music, but had a special fondness for country music. Along with being an incredible comedian, another notable thing about Mark was his laugh and hugs. In his hugs you felt love.

He touched so many hearts during his time here. Our family will forever be incomplete, but he will forever be a part of our family. Marco will be incredibly missed but always loved and remembered.

A visitation for Marco will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
