Joy Doris Wissinger

Born on May 22, 1945, in Providence, Rhode Island, she grew up in Rhode Island and later moved to Tucson, Arizona. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.

Joy proudly earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona, and she enjoyed her work as Registrar at Sabino High School for nearly 25 years.

Joy lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She played the piano, had a beautiful singing voice, and she could cook! Her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings. She was known for her independent and adventurous spirit, with a kind and generous soul who always put others before herself. Her family and friends will remember her for her warm smile and her unwavering love.

She is survived by her children, Kerri, Jason, Travis, and Jaime, and 8 grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

A private funeral service will be held for family members and friends at St. Pius Catholic Church, Tucson, AZ, on November 2, 2024, at 10:00am.
