Josefina Jester

Josefina Jester, 82, passed away on December 5, 2024 after a long illness. Josefina was born March 12, 1942 in the Philippines. She married David Jester while he was stationed at Clark Air Force Base in 1965, who died on May 7, 2023 after his long battle with cancer and Alzhemiers. She enjoyed her great-grandchildren and caring for senior citizens when she was a nursing assistant. She was so proud of herself when she earned her nurse's assistant certificate from Pima Community College even though English was her second language. She was the last of her siblings but has many nieces and nephews on the Bulanadi side of her family.

She leaves behind three children William (Bill) Jester, his wife Angela, and their daughters Kali, and Katie (mother of Aayla, great-granddaughter). Mary Ann Jester, her husband Bob Bond, and their children Jay and Danielle. Mickey Jester, his wife Angelina and their children, Michael (wife Sharon, parents of Archer, great-grandson), Anthony (father of Sydney and Aubrey, great-granddaughters), Vinny (father of Amirah, great-granddaughter), Marissa, Nathan, Christina, Daniel, Gabriel, Christopher, Nicolas, and Isabella.

Josefina Jester's memorial services will be on Tuesday, December 17th at Funeraria Del Angel at 3435 N. First Ave. Visitation with family from 10am to 11am and the memorial services starting at 11am.
