Jose Ruiz Rodriguez was born on Jan 26 1945, and passed on Saturday May 25, 2024. He is survived by his daughters Lillian Joanne and Joelene, and his son Joe Jr. He left four siblings Linda Castaneda, Able Enriquez, Sylvia Frasquillo, and Jaime Enriquez. He had 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Joe went to heaven and joins his ex-wife Isabel Rodriguez, and his beloved grandson Michael Luis Rodriguez.
Joe did two tours in Vietnam, and has a triple bypass surgery, beat lung cancer and liver cancer. His last fight was with Lewy body dementia, that took a toll on his strength and the fight weakened him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, and had many family and friends that loved him.
Joe was a warrior, and hero; we will always be proud of you dad.
A visitation will occur from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A graveside and military honors will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
