Janet Sue Howerton, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her went home to the Lord February 9, 2024.Janet was born May 17, 1954 to Earl and Mary Jean Keen in Woster, Ohio.
She attained her master’s degree in counseling and spent several decades helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Prior to retiring in 2014 she had started her own psychotherapy practice; Visions of Change.
Janet shared her life with her late husband, Gary Howerton. She loved her dogs, painting and spending time with family and friends.
Janet is survived by her brothers Jeff (Deb) Keen and David Keen, her children Ben (Espie) Byler and PJ Byler, Her granddaughter Keila Brocato and Gary’s children Andrea Gutierrez, Jennifer Howerton, and Naomi Miller.
Services will be held at East Lawn Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Service will begin at 12:00 PM with burial following at approximately 1:00 PM.
