Beloved father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, mentor, and friend, Jim Eager, Jr., passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. Born in Tucson to James and Kathryn Eager, Jim graduated from Amphitheater High School where he was the marching drum major and attended Boys State. He then attended the University of Arizona where he joined Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) fraternity and met Jenelle, his late wife of 47 years. Jim spent the last few years of his wife's life as a care giver.
Jim is survived by sons, Eric and David (Amy) Eager; daughter Jenelle (Ted) Chaloux, granddaughters, Kylie and Shannon Chaloux;
Jim was an insurance agent, financial manager, and then ran a stage management business providing technical equipment and support to many local productions.
Jim supported the Tucson community and served in various civic roles. These included

YMCA Board Member
Executive Director for the Miss Tucson Scholarship Pageant
Boy Scouts, Jim was the district roundtable commissioner, Order of the Arrow lodge advisor, and council executive board member.
Funeral services will be held at Tucson East Lawn Palms, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ on Thursday, December 5 at 3:00 PM.
