George Anthony Cranz, age 73 passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. George was born June 9, 1951 to Frank and Celina Cranz. He is survived by his siblings, his children, and his beloved spouse of 35 years, Cecilia.
George lived in Arizona his who life, graduating high school here in Tucson before joining the Marine Corps. George valiantly served his country, before returning home to start his own business. His entrepreneurship built a small business from the ground up, which he maintained until his passing.
George had many hobbies, loved horses, and maintained a strong faith.
George will be dearly missed by those who had the opportunity to know him, and will be remembered fondly.
A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a prayer service from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
Graveside Military Honors and a committal service will follow the prayer service, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
