Flora “Sue” Hoffmann took her last breath, and entered eternity with our Lord and savior on Friday, October 20th, 2023, among her family. She is survived by her son Wayne, daughter-in-law Cheryl, grandchildren Kurtis (Mikayla), Kristina (Brett), Kasandra (Nicholas), Bonnie (Aaron), Jaimie, Nicole(John), Rebekah (Chris), and her 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years Chuck, her son Bobby, daughter-in-law Rebekah, parents Naomi and Earl, a brother, two sisters, and other beloved family members. She was a devoted Christian, dedicated to her family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and cherished her.
Sue was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Where she met the love of her life Charles Hoffmann. After they were married she spent 21 proud years serving and supporting her husband’s career in the US Air Force. While he was TDY for months to a year at a time, Sue held down the home front keeping charge of her two young sons. Sue worked as an office manager for many years at various Air Force bases, and she proudly served in her church and community for many years.
Sue will always be fondly recalled for her love of singing, her love of all things fashion, as a woman who was nurturing and honest, and firm when she needed to be. She lived a life well loved. She will be remembered in the song of every pair of morning birds, and the beautiful colorful sunsets.
Services for Sue will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn on November 1st, 2023. Public service at 10:00am, followed by a Graveside service and Burial at 11:30pm, and a luncheon to follow
