Delfina is survived by her siblings Matilde Santa Cruz, Isabel Rascon, and Lecha Medina and her children: Jorge Acuna, Manuel Acuna, Rosemary Duarte, Vincent Duarte, Connie Luna, and Bertha Sherman. Along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many more loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents Roman and Antonia Vargas, sisters Armeda Duarte, Maria Arvezu, brothers Manuel Vargas, Julian Vargas, Felix Vargas, Roman Vargas and son Jose J Duarte.
Delfina was born on February 9, 1928 in Imuris, Sonora Mexico. She and Jesus (Chapo) Duarte raised 7 children while constantly helping many others. Delfina’s family remembers her as a strong, hardworking, selfless, loving, and kind woman who helped and welcomed everyone into her family. She will be greatly missed by all!"
