Sahuarita, Arizona – Christine F. Glew, 86, passed away peacefully at her home, under Hospice care; on February 22, 2023. She was born on August 22, 1936. Union, New York, the daughter of Isaac S. and Margaret A. (Jones) Jones.
Christine graduated from Willow Glen High School, San Jose, California, Class of 1955. She married Gerald Kermit Glew on February 22, 1957, at Willow Glen Methodist Church, San Jose, California. Christine was a housewife who enjoyed making many different type of craft gifts for family and friends. She loved painting and her dogs. She had been active with Handi-Dogs, Tucson, Arizona for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald K Glew, son, David Alan Glew and Granddaughter, Laura Jasmine Bard. Surviving her sister, Karen L. Palmer of California, daughter, Dorthy A. Bard of Arizona, sons, Darryl M. Glew of Arizona, Donald S. Glew of Nevada, Dwayne P. Glew of Arizona, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Christine will be buried at East Lawn Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona next to her husband.
