Charles Joseph Wilkinson Jr., beloved husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather, departed this world on February 26, 2016 into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Anne, in 2014, and son, Randy, in 1995. Charlie is survived by his sons, Joe (Linda), Brad (Karol), David (Kathryn), daughter, Chris (Terry), daughter-in-law, Debbie (Dave), and by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Barnsdall, OK, on July 4, 1924, Charlie joined the Marines in 1942 and served in the Pacific during World War II. After leaving the service he came to Tucson, where he met Anne. Charlie was in the construction business, building, among other things, many swimming pools throughout the Tucson area. He will be remembered as a hard worker, with a great sense of humor, and we will miss the stories he told. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of the VA Hospital for the care they provided Charlie.
