She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles E. Palmer, daughter Lee Ann Hall (Keith), grandson Hayden Hall and granddaughter Mackenzie Hall, all of Lawrenceville, GA; brothers Clint (Francis) Jarrett of Seattle, WA; J.O. (Christine) Jarrett of Stockbridge, GA; Rudy (Ann) Jarrett of Blakely, GA; sister Winita Jarrett Parr of Stockbridge, GA; sister-in-law Joyce Jarrett of Blakely, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was a 52-year employee of Scott Equipment Company in Atlanta and served many years as vice president of the company prior to her retirement in 2017.
A long-time member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church in Decatur (now Bridgepoint Community Church) she was among a group of dedicated ladies who enjoyed serving others in Christian fellowship.
A celebration of life will be held at Floral Hills in Decatur, on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 from 2 – 4 PM.
